Reach House, Prinyers Cove CrescentBy day, be captivated by the waterfront view of the Aldophous Reach and by night be gently lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. On the outside, Victorian, on the inside, Cape-Cod, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home sleeps 6 comfortably in a beautiful setting with all the amenities.
There is wall to wall carpeting and accent rugs throughout. All bedrooms are located on the second floor; two have a Queen bed each and one has two twin beds. There is a newly renovated (as of 2012) four-piece bathroom on the second floor. [Pictures to come]
The main floor is an open concept design featuring a bank of windows that provides guests with a mesmerizing view of the water. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and a three-piece bathroom.
The Hanover-style modern kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, toaster, quality cookware, dishes (set of 12), coffee and tea.
The dining area seats 6 people. The living room has a couch, two comfy and two casual chairs and a wood-burning fireplace. Light fires in the evenings, read a book, play board games, listen to music on the stereo or watch movies on the TV.
Other amenities include a phone, WiFi internet, washer & dryer, central air conditioning, ceilings fans, books, games, pillows, blankets, 100% cotton linens and toiletries. This waterfront property has ample front and backyard lawn areas and parking. Its outdoor amenities include a dock, a large deck, patio furniture, a gas BBQ, and lawn games such as Croquet and Bocce Ball.
75 feet of flat beach (pebble and rock) frontage with a gradual underwater incline makes it a great place for a swim. The water depth at the end of the dock is approximately 4 feet.
Only a 5 minute boat or car ride to Prinyer's Cove Marina or North Marysburg Park public boat launch. A 10 minute drive to Lake on the Mountain or Waupoos wineries. And a 20 minute drive to Picton, Prince Edward County's cultural hub. A 40 minute drive to the sandy beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park. This property includes a pass to the Sandbanks Provincial Park.

This is an excellent place for friends and families of boaters anchoring their vessel at the nearby Prinyers Cove Marina to access larger accommodation while exploring the Quinte Isle waterways.
Prinyers Cove is considered a jewel among Bay of Quinte anchorages. Travel in your small dingy to and from the Marina and The Reach House's dock. Relax on the large deck and watch the sail boats slowly drift by. Cruise on your own sail boat through the Bay of Quinte waterways to find out why the brisk winds attract many savvy sailors.
Fish or swim all day, hold lawn game competitions on the lawn, roast marshmallows in the fire pit next to the beach and gaze at the stars above.

This was our first vacation in Prince Edward County and we loved it!! This cottage is beautiful and so well-equipped. So peaceful watching the sailboats sail by. We enjoyed the use of the BBQ and firepit for Smores. Thanks so much for the use of your lovely cottage, we really enjoyed our week here.

A fantastic week at The Reach House. A beautiful cottage in a great location. Loved Sandbanks beach, picking blueberries, horseback riding, touring the winteries and the backroads. The kids also like the new min-golf course at the entrance of Sandbanks. To quote the former governor of the fair state of California - 'We'll be back'.

We came here for a week of cycling and relaxation and the house became a wonderful refuge.
We recommend:
1. Fifth Town
2. The Carriage House in Bloomfield (raisin scones, french bauette)
3. Blumen
4. Cycling to Waupoos (and having lunch)
5. Walking, running (if you like that!)
6. Watching the colour of the sky at night
7. Listening to loons and insects
8. BBQ fish with lime juice, olive oil, cracked pepper (yum!)
9. Bake a cake for fun!

What a great time! The house was comfortable and well-stocked we couldn't have asked for more. We enjoyed the Sandbanks, the wineries, the countryside, the campfire and fishing off the dock. Very peaceful and relaxing!

We have booked with County Vacation the last five years and it just keeps getting better. All places were nice but your HITS #1 for the following reasons.

We enjoyed this spot, this house from the first second. We spent a great week here, going for a swim, chilling by the bon-fire, watching the sunset, visit places ie Fifth Town (cheese factory), eat slickers ice cream etc.
