This was a New Year's Eve for the record books! What an exceptionally special time for everyone. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful house with us. It's been relaxing indeed, beautiful to the eye and spirit and a restorative start to a new year. Thanksgiving Weekend. What a lovely surprise for my 65th Birthday. This was our second time at The Eckhart House and loved every minute of it. To share this house with my family for my birthday was perfect. The surprise dinner by Chef Janet topped if off!

This is our third time at The Eckhart House. As always it welcomed us back like it was our second home. 'Harvest' by Festival Players was spectacular! Best sunsets we've ever seen. The Lavender famr, 40km+ bike rides and the wines at Hinterland were fantastic. Oh! Try the Commanda cheese in Waupoos -- so sad to see Fifth Town gone - their cheeses were absolutely world class!

We were here for our 2nd annual extended family vacation. We enjoyed the outdoors, the great kitchen and watching the London Olympics all together. Mattea, 18 months, enjoyed running around and Chaline, 7 weeks, slept peacefully here. Thank you for a wonderful week of family time. We will recommend this house to everyone!!! Cheers to great memories.

We are sad to be packing up and leaving this small piece of heaven. It is always the highlight of my year get together with my sister and our families. This year was no exception! We loved everything about Eckhart House - the location (so close to Sandbanks, Picton and other wonderful spots in PEC), the property (wonderful patio, trees, lawns), the house (with all its treasures).
I especially enjoyed the warmth and old country charm of the kitchen (love the orange walls)!
Thanks for everything. I hope we are able to come back and visit again soon.

After sitting on the patio reading everyone else's comments' it appears all has been said! I felt like I was 'home' the minute I walked in the front door - thank you for that! Would love more of your grape jelly - Do tell folks about the Outer banks Deli for us 'non-county' folk who do not know about it. It was the perfect morning walk to a paper and daily needs. I am hoping to return next summer to visit my new summer place again, the yellow & white linens work PERFECTLY!!

Hey! We're Back!
My mom really likes the view of the big black barn next door, as she grew up on a farm. We were here last time ni the winter, so it's great to see the crocuses popping up everywhere, and to be able to sit outside on the deck.
I saw a fox on the back of the property this time.
The grape jelly and local wine much appreciated. Once again we are astounded by the beauty and functionality of the gourmet kitchen. We cooked platers of wonderful and sometimes strange edibles. Found a dragonfruit in Picton and produce guy knew everything about it!
It was good to get together over some Prince Edward County wine, as we all live so far apart. The rural setting is perfect for my Mom, so she can reminise. We appreciate the hardwork you have done to make this place such a retreat.
