How many weeks can I expect my vacation property to be rented?
The amount of time your vacation property is booked depends on a number of factors including
- the number of visitors to the County
- how close the property is to Sandbanks Provincial Park and to other popular attractions
- whether or not the property has a beach for swimming or a swimming pool
- the number of bedrooms and bathrooms
- the type of décor (rustic or luxury) and the amenities provided.
The summer season (last week of June to the first week of September) draws the largest number of visitors to the area. Weekends in Spring (May to June) and Fall (September to October), and holidays are also favourite booking times.
In the quiet season (November to April), County Vacation networks with real estate agents, contractors, government organizations, business associations and service clubs to enhance extended stays and vacation bookings.
Call or email us; we would be happy to discuss the booking potential for your property and arrange for a site visit of your property if appropriate.

What happens if my place is damaged?
In order for the Renter to book a vacation rental they must provide a $500 to $1000 damage deposit and sign an agreement that permits County Vacation to charge a damage deposit and pass it on to the owner. If the renter disputes the damage deposit claim, you or the rental agent make the final call to determine the amount of damages.
